jetty

DSCF0001

My passing fancy with horizontally-oriented black-and-white photographs has, well, passed. I don't use this blog much anymore. But it still irks me that none of the photos are showing up. (I use Zooomr for my photo storage, and they're essentially offline for the MONTH. They're shipping hard drives to Japan or something. Which means my photos are on a boat somewhere. Which means THEY'RE NOT HERE. So you have nothing to look at but a thumbnail archive full of "Sorry, this photo is currently unavailable.")

[Deal, NJ | January 2008 | Fuji S700]

aftermath

DSCN3673

This was supposed to be a Nor'easter.

Oh well. A little rain is better than nothing.

[Ocean Township, NJ | December 2007 | Fuji S700]

light

DSCF0017

Sunlight on the counter, as seen through a water glass. Is this refraction, or is there another name for it?

[September 2007 | Fuji S700]

star

watermeter

My teacher seemed to love all my "using-up-film" shots. I'm unimpressed with this one partially because I've been photographing manholes for 8 months, so a water meter is hardly anything novel.

[Ocean, NJ | July 2007 | Canon Rebel 2000]

gull

OMG this is TOTALLY the cat's pajamas.

So what if it's boring and cliche and uh, not a great photo?

Oh whatever.

ponte

PonteVec2

Ponte Vecchio. I think I butchered that spelling.

[Florence, Italy | March 2005 | Nikon 3200]

pier

DSCN2686

Covered in ice and lacking boats.
